  • ANERT-Kerala won 3 awards under the MNRE Off-Grid and Decentralized Solar Applications Programme of 2015-16:
    • First Prize for Solar Lanterns (SNA)
    • First Prize for Solar Power Packs (SNA)
    • Third Prize for Thrissur District for Solar Power Packs (Districts)
  • 10000 Rooftop Solar Power Plant Programme wins National Award for Innovative Programme (2015 - AREAS - MNRE)

The 10,000 Rooftop Solar Power Plants Programme of ANERT has won the National Award for Innovative Programme from AREAS, MNRE (Govt of India) in 2015. The Award was handed over by the Union Minister for Power, Coal and Renewable Energy Shri Piyush Goyal at the First Foundation Day Celebration of AREAS at Bengaluru on 27-Aug-2015. The award was received for ANERT by General Manager Shri M. Unnikrishnan.

AREAS (Association of Renewable Energy Agencies of States) is an autonomous body of the Government of India under MNRE formed in 2014 with all the state nodal agencies (SNA) for renewable energy as its members.
